Summer School Overview

Summer school students may attend a three-week (semester) session or six week (full-year) session, experience intensive 2-4 two-hour classes, and have the afternoons off. Squaw Valley Academy Bay Area offers first-semester courses during Session One and second-semester courses during Session Two. Enrollment is open to all qualified high school students. Students who attend both sessions are eligible to earn full-year credits. Class availability changes year to year depending on student enrollment and teacher availability.

Average summer class sizes are less than eight students, leading to personalized, intensive instruction. Teacher-led afternoon study hall enhances and support daily instruction.
